Privacy policy

General                  

This register description was drawn up in compliance with the EU Data Protection Directive 2016/680. The register is maintained by Finnish Wellbeing (business ID 3191165-9), and it is called Finnish Wellbeing Client Register.

The purpose of the register is to help maintain client relationships and facilitate payment via the Visma Pay online payment system used by Finnish Wellbeing. Other purposes of use include the processing of orders and deliveries, the development of operation, analytics and statistics, the production of more personalized content and targeted marketing as well as the prevention of abuse.  The data processing is not based on a legitimate interest.

Data content of the register 

The register may contain the following types of data:

  • • contact information (first and last name, telephone number and work email address) and any information concerning the prohibition of direct marketing;
  • • the data subject’s position in their organization and the name, address and other contact information of the organization; • information on registration and participation in events, newsletter orders and other marketing preferences; and
  • • information on registration and participation in events, newsletter orders and other marketing preferences; and
  • • profiling data collected with cookies and other corresponding technologies.

When registering as a Vendor, we also ask you the name and business ID of your company and the contact person’s telephone number.

When using the service, our system records some of your activities in a database. Regarding clients, the system records orders and order history. Regarding Vendors, we record matters related

 Regarding Vendors, we record matters related to maintaining the online shop, such as addition of products, order management and communication with Finnish Wellbeing and clients. User data is stored indefinitely or until the data subject wishes to adapt or erase their data.

Data sources

Client data is collected regularly:

by phone from the client, from the internet, by email or in another corresponding manner; and by using cookies

or other corresponding technologies.

Data protection

Data is collected from order-placing and registered users. The data is only disclosed to the controller and personal data processors, that is, Vendors using the service.

The data is available in order confirmations delivered by email to clients and Vendors and accessible to them in the Finnish Wellbeing service.

Data is not disclosed outside the EU or the EEA.

Rights of the data subject

Right to access and rectify

Registered clients and Vendors can view and adapt the data of their user account and delete their account.

Data subjects have the right to access the data concerning them in the register. Any contacts concerning the right to access should be made in writing. Instructions on the operating model can be requested from [email protected]

Right to prohibit

The data subject has the right to prohibit the controller from processing data concerning them for the purposes of direct advertising, distance marketing, other direct marketing activities, market research and opinion polls.

Cookies

Finnish Wellbeing uses cookies to improve the quality of the service. The website’s use of cookies is protected, and the cookies are not used for profiling users. Browsing the website without cookies may prevent the use of certain functionalities. Finnish Wellbeing uses first-party cookies for the purposes of logon and the shopping cart functionality, among others. In addition, Finnish Wellbeing uses third-party cookies, such as Google Analytics. We may make changes to the Privacy Policy due to service development and changes to legislation. Clients are notified of any major changes to the Privacy Policy in connection with updating the terms.
